LIVE the Charles “Julio Foolio” Jones Murder Court Proceedings — State of Florida v. Alicia Andrews

The court case of defendant Alicia Andrews of Florida rapper Julio Foolio is now underway in Tampa, Florida.

The state alleges that she worked as a lookout while Charles Jones was in Tampa for his birthday. They claim she communicated with others who later ambushed the rapper in a Holiday Inn parking area.

Multiple shooters allegedly fired dozens of rounds, killing him and injuring three others.

Andrews is charged with premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Investigators have presented digital evidence that they say show her role in the planning. This includes location tracking data and videos recovered from her online accounts.

The defense argues that she didn’t know what the others intended to do. The defense says she was in Tampa for personal reasons.

The proceedings is being followed closely by the media because the killing is linked to gang tensions.

Day 6 of the trial has focused on phone evidence, with forensic experts explaining how they tracked cell phone activity across Florida.
